“Advancing Sustainable Futures through Mathematics, Natural Sciences, STEM, and Transformative Education”
The global landscape of education, science, and innovation is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by the growing need to respond to complex challenges such as climate change, technological disruption, sustainability, social inclusion, and the development of future-ready human resources.
Mathematics, natural sciences, STEM, computational thinking, and transformative education play strategic roles in supporting sustainable development. To respond to these needs, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), in collaboration with the SEAMEO Regional Centre for QITEP in Mathematics (SEAQiM), organizes a joint international academic event: ICMSE 2026 and ISMEI 2026.
This joint conference is designed as a collaborative platform that combines the multidisciplinary strength of ICMSE with the focused expertise of ISMEI in mathematics education, STEM, and computational thinking.
1. ICMSE 2026: A multidisciplinary international conference focusing on mathematics, science, sustainability, innovation, and education.
2. ISMEI 2026: An international symposium focusing on mathematics education and innovation, with special emphasis on STEM, computational thinking, sustainable learning, and inclusive educational practices.
