About SPECTRA 2025

Science Progress in Environment, Computing, Technology, Research, and Applications (SPECTRA) is an international conference organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Indonesia. The conference aims to serve as a collaborative platform for academics, researchers, and professionals to share the latest findings and innovative approaches across scientific disciplines.

Themed “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for Sustainability: Bridging Innovation and Global Challenges”, SPECTRA 2025 highlights the crucial role of interdisciplinary research in addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The conference will be held on October 8th, 2025, in a hybrid format, taking place both onsite at the FMIPA Ballroom, D12 Building 3rd Floor, UNNES, Semarang, Indonesia, and online.

SPECTRA 2025 brings together distinguished keynote and invited speakers from various institutions across Asia, offering insightful sessions in fields including physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, materials science, computer science, and environmental studies.


Scope

We invite high-quality submissions reporting original work across a broad range of scientific disciplines and their applications in support of sustainable development. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Biology and Life Sciences

Mathematics and Computing

Materials Science and Engineering

STEM Education and Policy

Submissions addressing the intersection of science and the United Nations SDGs are particularly encouraged.
