The 2nd Online National Seminar on  English Linguistics and Literature (ELLit) 2020


English Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang holds the 2nd Online National Seminar on English Linguistics and Literature (ELLit) titled “Seminar on Post-Truth in Cultural Construction through Linguistics, Literature, and Cultural Studies.” The purposes of the seminar are to provide a space to discuss and think critically so that it can contribute to linguistics, literature, and cultural studies; and to expand post-truth related-science and knowledge as parts of hyper-culture, especially in connection to linguistics, literature, and cultural studies.


We invite prominent researchers, lecturers, teachers, students, and public interested to discover and learn more about hyper-culture in language, literature, and cultural studies to participate in this seminar held on July 16, 2020.

Call for Papers


Authors are requested to submit abstract to the Organizing Committee by 17 April 2020 June 4, 2020. The abstract should be between 150-250 words and should be clear, descriptive, and gives a brief objective of the study. Followed by a statement of the methodology and a brief predicted summary of the results. Keywords consist of 3-6 words or phrases (font size 10 bold).


The paper should be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All selected papers will be published in proceedings by reputable and indexed international publisher.

 

Abstract and Paper Submission


To submit an abstract, authors must register first. Then they can submit their abstracts by logging in to this site. The manuscript (full paper) can be submitted only after authors submit their abstracts. The whole submission process is done fully online (NOT by email) to guarantee smooth administration.
