Conference Description
The 7th ICESS 2023 aims to provide a platform for researcher and observer on global network issues, prosperity policies, and sustainable development to present, share ideas, and collaborate. The conference forum can be a venue for getting to know each other as well as sharing ideas and information to that the community is capable of solving various challenges and problems of the global network, prosperity policies, and sustainable development by utilizing various innovations born in the 4.0 industrial revolution era to improve quality of life in the future.

The conference will be held at July 20-21, 2023 at Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Jl. Sekaran, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, 50229 with Hybrid Conference system.
Call for Papers
Authors are requested to submit abstract to the Organizing Committee by July 11, 2023. The abstract is a maximum of 200 words and should consist of the following: aims of study, method used, result, and implication. The papers should written in English and must be between 4 to 6 pages. They will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical research content or depth, correctness, relevance to the conference, contribution, and readability. Selected papers will be published in Journal indexed Scopus, and journal indexed SINTA at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Peer Review Process
All papers are thoroughly peer-reviewed. We only publish articles reviewed and approved by highly qualified researchers with expertise in appropriate fields. We used a single-blind peer-reviewing process. Detailed information about the flow from the manuscript submission (author) to the acceptance by the editor is shown in the following figure.
In short, steps are:
1. Manuscript submission by author
2. Manuscript check and selection. Editors have the right to accept, reject, or review directly. Before further processing steps, a plagiarism check using Turnitin is applied for each manuscript
3. Manuscript reviewing process
4. Notification of manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection (based on reviewer comments)
5. Paper revision
6. Revision submission based on reviewer suggestion
7. If the reviewer seems to be satisfied with the revision, notification for acceptance by the editor
8. Galley proof and publishing process
