The world is experiencing unfavorable conditions caused by a virus that originated in Wuhan, China which is called Covid-19. WHO (2020), states that this virus is transmitted very quickly and can cause death. This virus attacks respiratory infections such as coughs and colds but is more deadly. Based on data Worldometer (2020), Coronavirus Cases stated that 2,176,744 patients were exposed to this virus and several died so that the outbreak of this virus is called the world Covid-19 pandemic.
The impact of the pandemic led the government to issue a new policy to stop the spread of Covid-19 by implementing a Physical Distancing policy and avoiding crowds. This means that all activities that were previously offline and create as many crowds as possible can be converted into activities that are carried out online or through online media.
To increase the knowledge about sports, health, and physical education during a pandemic, Faculty of Sports Sciences Universitas Negeri Semarang, virtually held an International Conference on Sports, Health, and Physical Education, which projected to be an international event in sports, public health, and physical education field. The conference aimed to be one of the benchmarks on sports, physical activity, as well as health promotion and education during global pandemic. This conference is the 5th series of previous conferences held in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2017.
The conference is a great opportunity to gather all knowledge and transformation on sports, health, as well as physical education to facing global pandemic.
