GUIDELINES FOR ALLATTENDEES ON THE 2nd Semarang International Conference on Conseling and Educational Psychology 


PARTICIPANT (SEMINAR SESSION)

  • Registration Confirmation, Kindly ensure that you have received your registration confirmation before attending the conference. This will facilitate a swift check-in process at the venue.
  • Early Arrival, Plan to arrive at the conference venue with ample time to spare. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
  • Name Badge, Upon registration, you will receive a name badge. Please wear this badge throughout the conference for identification and networking purposes.
  • Mobile Devices, We'd like to ask you to please set your mobile phones to silent mode during conference sessions to minimize disruptions.
  • Seating, Please cooperate with our ushers and take your assigned seat to ensure a smooth flow of the event.
  • Participation, Active participation isencouraged during seminars, presentations, and discussions. Feel free to engage with fellow participants, presenters, and organizers.
  • Questions and Discussions, Participate in Q&A sessions after presentations. Please raise your hand if you have a question or comment. A moderator will facilitate the discussion and give you the opportunity to contribute.
  • Networking, Utilize breaks to connect with other attendees, exchange ideas, and build professional relationships.
  • Respect, Treat all participants, presenters, and organizers with respect and courtesy. We value a diverse and inclusive environment for learning and collaboration.


PARTICIPANT (WEBINAR SESSION)

  • Attendees are required to participate in the webinar from beginning to end.
  • Please join us at 07.45 Western Indonesian Time in a Zoom meeting.
  • To recognize your presence, please change your\Zoom ID to the following:
  • Only as a webinar attendee: ParticipantComplete Name (as registered on the website). Example: ParticipantMulawarman.
  • As a webinar attendee and presenter: PresenterComplete Name (as registered on the website) Example: PresenterMulawarman.
  • Attendees are encouraged to turn on the camera during the event unless there are technical troubles.
  • Please use the following virtual background (https://bit.ly/VBackgroundzoomSICCEP23)
  • During the webinar, attendees will not be able to activate the microphone unless permitted to turn it on.
  • Attendees are allowed to submit questions during the question and answer session, taking into the following conditions:
  • Questions were asked via Zoom chat.
  • Mention your complete name and the institution.
  • Moderators have the right to choose participants who can ask questions directly (on the mic).

PRESENTER (PARALLEL SESSION)

PRE-SESSION

  • Please prepare your presentation media.
  • Please keep in mind that oral presentations must be prepared and exposed in English.
  • Ensure that your internet connection and room are good and conducive so the presentation can run well.

DURING SESSION

  • Please join the session 10 minutes in advance, according to your respective breakout room. Test your microphone once joined so the session can start on time.
  • During the presentation, presenters must activate the camera, microphone, and please use SICCEP Virtual Background.
  • Presenters will be responsible for screen-sharing and advancing the slides.
  • The duration for each presenter for the presentation session is 7 minutes in panels with three to five presenters. It is continued with a Q&A session or discussion.
  • The presenter should always be ready to present.
  • The committee will remind the remaining time for a presentation or Q&A session through the Zoom chat.
  • For Q&A sessions, moderators will offer the audience and have the right to choose participants who can ask questions directly (on mic).
  • Presenters must fill out the attendance form sent through room chat.
  • The presenter should not leave the Zoom meeting before the session ends.
  • The moderator will record the meeting.
  • Presenters must present in parallel session otherwise they will not receive a certificate as presenter.
