Force Majeure Clause

1. Definition

Force majeure refers to any event beyond the reasonable control of the Organizing Committee, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, or any other unforeseeable circumstances that may prevent the conference from being held as scheduled.

2. Rights of the Organizer

In the event of force majeure, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to:

Reschedule the conference to a later date;

Change the conference format (e.g., from onsite to virtual or hybrid);

Change the venue; or

Cancel the conference if necessary.

3. Liability Limitation

The Organizing Committee shall not be held responsible for any personal expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to airfare, accommodation, visa fees, transportation, or other related costs.
