The conference reflects UNNES’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, scientific excellence, and global engagement, particularly in promoting interdisciplinary and policy-relevant research that supports sustainable development.
ICESS 2026 is jointly hosted with University of North Georgia (USA), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, and Google Cloud Indonesia, underscoring strong regional partnerships and cross-border collaboration among academia, industry, and global technology stakeholders. This collaboration highlights the strategic integration of environmental science, green technology, digital innovation, and data-driven solutions in addressing complex environmental and sustainability challenges.
Conducted in a hybrid format, ICESS 2026 enables broad international participation, facilitating inclusive knowledge exchange between onsite and online participants. The conference is designed to bring together researchers, scholars, policymakers, development practitioners, and industry representatives to share cutting-edge research findings, technological innovations, and policy-oriented insights that inform sustainable development strategies at local, national, and global levels.
